Where play, learning &
adventure meet.
Play
Play is at the heart of forest school, where children are free to explore, imagine, and create in a natural outdoor environment. Through unstructured, open-ended play, they develop confidence, creativity, resilience, and social skills while following their own interests.
Connection
Community connection is an integral part at Into the Woods, where children build meaningful relationships with one another, their educators, and the natural world around them. Through shared experiences outdoors, they develop a sense of belonging, cooperation, and respect.
Adventure
Whether climbing trees, navigating streams, or discovering hidden corners of the forest, these experiences challenge children physically, mentally, and emotionally. Adventure fosters a love for the outdoors, turning learning into an exciting journey of exploration and discovery.
Our Mission
Our Mission is to nurture confident, independent learners through meaningful hands on experiences in the natural world. We empower children to develop real-life skills and practical knowledge that they can carry into their everyday lives, while fostering a lifelong appreciation for nature.
Our Values
Into the Woods aims to nurture resilient, confident, independent, and creative learners through a holistic, nature-based approach. Rooted in play-based and child-led learning, we encourage curiosity, creativity, and exploration through unstructured play and meaningful outdoor experiences. Consistent sessions help build deeper connections and a sense of security, while healthy, age-appropriate risk-taking supports the development of resilience and independence. Guided by respect —for self, others, and the environment—we foster emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth, creating a foundation for lifelong learning and connection to the natural world.
